Original here. Thanks to Washi for providing a really large base drawing with clean lines -- made my job a lot easier.

I think I'm starting to get the hang of colouring in photoshop. Thanks to copious answers to my questions from Swing (cheers!) I've got some nice techniques worked out.

I'm quite pleased with the colours in this pic, and also the moon background. Shading was a bit icky though -- I'm using a new technique which means that I've got to go pretty overboard to lighten light bits (like her shirt), but on darker bits (e.g. on the pants) even 1% lighting stands out. Something I'll have to work on, obviously.

I liked it too! I should probably make some texture on it. I'm actually working on improving the piece by adding shading where I can, and improving what shading I have on there (the pants, for example, still seem overshaded).

I think it's the colour.
